AWS-Powered Cloud Infrastructure
Built on Amazon Web Services with multi-tenant SaaS architecture. Military-grade security with end-to-end encryption and IAM protocols. Scalable Data Lakes for infinite storage with high availability across multiple AWS Availability Zones ensuring 99.9% uptime.
What This Layer Does
The AWS Cloud Infrastructure layer is the backbone of IWMS β providing enterprise-grade compute, storage, and security for all water data flowing from thousands of IoT nodes. Built as a true multi-tenant SaaS, each government body gets an isolated data environment on shared AWS infrastructure. All data is stored within the AWS Mumbai region (ap-south-1) to satisfy Government of India data residency requirements.
Features & Capabilities
Multi-tenant SaaS
Each IWMS tenant gets isolated data namespaces, dedicated dashboards, and RBAC on shared AWS infrastructure β reducing per-tenant cost by 60β80%.
AWS S3 Data Lakes
All raw sensor telemetry, processed analytics, and audit logs stored in S3 at virtually unlimited scale. Time-series data partitioned for sub-second queries.
End-to-End Encryption
All data encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). AWS KMS manages keys with government-grade HSM backing.
IAM & RBAC
AWS Identity and Access Management integrated with IWMS RBAC. Every API call is attributed to a named user with full audit trail.
Multi-AZ High Availability
IWMS services deployed across multiple AWS Availability Zones in Mumbai. Automatic failover ensures 99.9% uptime during AZ-level failures.
Government Data Residency
All data remains within AWS India region (ap-south-1) β satisfying Government of India data residency requirements for JJM compliance.
